Are you struggling to find balance in your life?
Â
You can start feeling like you again in only
 a few minutes a day, Â
without needing to do ice baths or hours of meditation!!!
Â
(Despite what some in the wellness industry will lead you to believe)
Let's be honest, we've all done things that fucked our mental health.
Years of binge drinking
Cheeky bags and other drugs
Eating shit food
Not sleeping properly
Consuming too much social media
Over working & burnoutÂ

...and we all know when we're carrying too much  stress and burnoutÂ
You feel tired & sluggish more often
You wake up feeling like you haven't slept
You struggle to slow down and enjoy the important moments
You lose your patience & temper more easily than normal
You can fall into a pattern of destructive behaviour
Â
Â
You see, the Health and Wellness industry pour millions into making you believe that you need to spend hours a day living like a fucking Buddhist monk to be healthy.
They deliberately make you feel like shit so you buy their expensive solutions. Why do you think you never see influencers pushing a free 5 minute gratitude practice, instead of ramming a juice detox or 12 week challenge down your throat?
Because it's not sexy, and it doesn't sell.
There is no doubt a lot of these hard strategies will make you feel better, and can be healthy. However, hard things go out the window when you feel sick, tired and stressed.
To make a lasting change you need to implement small achievable strategies that become habits.
Let me ask you a couple of questions......
-
How many times have you said you’re off the piss for a month, just to wish that month away to say that you’ve done it?
-
How many 12 week challenges have you done, just to slowly put the weight back on and sit where you usually do?
-
How many different "healthy practices" have you tried like cold showers, ice baths, meditation, intermittent fasting? Falling off the wagon, because you became too busy at work?
Just to find yourself slipping back into old habits?
When you think about it, most things in your life stay pretty similar - because of habits.
That is the secret right there. Our habits are so fucking hard to break.
The key is to hack our brains and practice short achievable strategies that become habits, so they will happen no matter how you are feeling. Then, when you are feeling motivated, you can tackle the hard challenges.
Not everyone needs to see a psychologist, or is ready or willing to quit drugs and alcohol cold turkey - and not everyone resonates with the "all or nothing" movement in the wellness industry.
However - everyone needs to look after their mental health.
So instead of being hard on yourself -Â Sit back, enjoy a beer & create some healthy habits and balance in your life.

How much have you invested into your mental health?
Â
This is not the part where I guilt you by pointing out how much you've spent over the years on things like partying, alcohol, drugs, fast food etc.
But seriously - how much have you ever invested in your mental health?
You’re probably already spending money on things that are good for your mental health, such as gym memberships, holidays, therapy, books, etc - and if you aren’t, you should be.
That’s why the Mind Health Bender is affordable.
I want this to be accessible to you, without you having to give anything up.

Who is the Bender for?

Hi, I'm Nick (but I usually get Blairy or B cup at the footy club).
I was a sparky by trade specialising in power quality, and I grew up in the typical "tradie" and footy culture - which often involved excessive drinking and recreational drug use.
I’m not going to lie, I fucking loved it. I was the instigator. Rolling out of revs on Sunday mornings (for those not in Melbourne – Revs is an icon that is open all weekend) and being known for being the full-time footy trip co-ordinator. Spending my twenties in a constant loop of chasing the party, drinking and smashing bags.
Throughout my life, there has been many experiences that led me to the path I’m on.
I am also fascinated by human psychology and how we experience life, which ultimately is all determined by our mental and physical health.
I have grappled with why so many people struggle in our fast-paced society, the sadness of standing at another mates funeral who couldn’t see a better way, and the countless conversations with people that have at times felt the same way.
There's also been times when I felt myself stuck in a hole, even though I have always prided myself on being mentally strong.
For years, I experimented with all the strategies out there. Hours of meditation and meditation courses, eating a fully vegan wholefood diet, cold showers, breathwork classes, yoga and heaps of other weird shit. And whilst I felt great doing all of them, I came to the realisation that there are not a lot of people teaching strategies that work consistently in real life.
Yes, these things make you feel healthy, but a lot of them are hard and difficult to sustain. And to be honest - not very fun.
I realised that most of these strategies go out the window when you become sick, tired, or busy and you quickly end up reverting back to your old habits.
I also observed that most of the people teaching these strategies only recommend their own strategy - and I felt disgruntled that there was a lack of teachers helping people find their own balance.
Because in reality, most people want to be healthier. But a lot of people:
- Don’t want to quit drinking completely and still even enjoy a night on the bags occasionally.
- Don’t need to go to a psychologist.
- Still want to enjoy a cheeky cheeseburger every now and then.
- Don’t want to spend hours doing breathwork classes. Â
It’s pretty simple, right? Balance is the key, and most people know it - but a lot of people find it hard to implement.
The other thing that I saw was influencers sharing their stories and teaching other people with no formal education or training, which is incredibly dangerous because it can fuck people up mentally.
This prompted me to become formally educated and pursue a diploma in Positive Psychology and a certificate in the Neuroscience of Brain Health.
For me, that wasn’t enough.
To maintain integrity and ensure that this course was of the highest standard, I assembled a team of experts - including Psychologists and both my teachers who are world renowned in the Positive Psychology and Neuroscience fields.
This program is the culmination of my personal life experiences, formal education, and collaboration with a team of professionals. Together, we aim to deliver valuable content and a strategy that is easy and achievable that will serve you for life.
Life is experienced by feelings, so the reason why looking after your mental health is so important is so you can flourish and enjoy the things you love in life.
I hope the Bender helps you enjoy the things you love in your life.
Cheers,
Nick
I look forward to having a bender with you.
